So how was your week? Mine flew by too fast and I really hate when weekends run even faster. Darn. Anyway, here’s what happened over the weekends.

The husband bought a whispbar roof rack which will be used during travels. I am happy to know that he is investing on these kinds of stuff because it means more vacation planning for us. Yey!
The son is excited to the upcoming drive to New Jersey. We’ll be visiting friends and maybe go on some sightseeing.
I work my butt off last Saturday. Morning was all about meeting until around noon.
Saw some friends Saturday night just right after I watched a movie with my son and tucked him to bed.
Sunday was just for the family and we had picnic at the park!

I can’t wait for the next weekend!

I Want R&R!

Even if I love the smell of coffee, the sounds of a very busy street, the traffic, the huge stores, the authentic tiny store in the corner or the steel buildings around me. Once in a while I want to go out of this city and just go to the suburbs with my boys and just relax a little bit. This week has been hectic and the weekend is not even free all day to just relax and play. I will be taking my son to my mom by Saturday morning but hopefully in the afternoon we, as a family, can go out after my husband and I attend to our meetings. Sunday, I will definitely make it free to go to church and just relax and watch movies at home, maybe order in some pizza. I can’t wait for Sunday!

Vacation for Summer

… is quite unsure. We have plans of going somewhere but since last week, my schedule and much more with the husband have been busy and we are not sure if we can meet deadlines before summer starts. My husband is suggesting that I look into hotels around the city where we can do some staycation with our son if ever our plans won’t push through with our relatives. I’ve been busy to look into possible places to stay for a 3-4 days and New York has so much to offer when it comes to really nice places but browsing through the internet to look for a certain spot is impossible right now especially that the husband wants a new place for us to try out. But I will definitely make a schedule for it one one of these days because summer is really nice to spend it with family, we might go to Central Park too and just laze around for half a day, I will definitely prepare my picnic basket!

Funny Shirts for Souvenirs

My husband will be holding a seminar next week and he ordered a couple of funny shirts for the staff to receive before the seminar. He thought of asking the staff to wear the shirt on the final day of the seminar and will have pictures taken for souvenirs as well. So this will be a fun seminar, I can imagine that now and there will be a sort of after seminar party for the staff and the bosses to attend to. I will be attending that dinner party so I will definitely be wearing the funny shirt as well. I am looking for a nicer skinny jeans to pear with the tee and a really nice but not too high wedges for my feet. I am excited and proud for my husband.

So are we going to buy him Vic Firth Drums for this coming summer? Yes, he will be taking up drums as well as swimming so I will have to juggle my time because the babysitter won’t be with him all the time. I opted to watch him while he does swimming lessons, I will worry less if I am watching him and he will be coming in for some drums lesson with the babysitter taking care of him. So is he excited? Of course, he will have a full plate this summer and that is really great!

Fountain at Home

I really want to get an indoor fountain at home. I particularly want to put it in the office. I feel that the stress there are higher than any other place at home and they said that the sound of water is really relaxing. My friend told me about this site that offers really nice indoor fountains, they even have other types like outdoor, wall, floor etc. When I clicked the indoor fountain, I was amazed of how many water features are available. So, I decided to browse more and asked my husband’s opinion on this because this is not my forte. So far, I have these as my favorites….

Pretty neat huh? But there are more so I will continue to look.

Everybody knows that I am a Victoria’s Secret advocate when it comes to bras and underwear. Now, I visited their site to look for some nice and comfy sleepwear. I never bought sleepwear from them before and this is my first and I must say, it’s really nice that they have categories to different tastes of women look at the varieties…

Honestly? I had a hard time deciding what to get so I ordered 4 different types and length for variety especially during the change of seasons.
