Harley-Davidson Motorcycles

I know, what is this title doing in my blog? I guess a break from the usual post is a breath of fresh air. So, I will be talking about my uncle who adores Harley davidson bikes and how he fulfilled his dream of owning 2 Harleys before he finally said, I am done with work and retired from it. Despite the downfall of the economy, you will see a lot of their bikes being sold, well new or old, even to me who is not a motorcycle enthusiast really appreciates the beauty and craftsmanship of the Harley Davidson. I heard from my uncle that used Harley motorcycles are much more in demand and one of my uncle’s bikes is a used bike and he actually relies on Highland Harley Davidson for new and used Harleys.

Highland Harley Davidson is a very reputable store to buy the latest model of Harley Davidson, a family of two dealership that are located in Pennsylvania and Maryland. They aim to make every customer satisfied right from the Harley davidson accessories you are looking for to building a bike for you, they can offer you with a guarantee of satisfaction. They also have a very reliable website where you can browse their latest models and even promotions. My uncle is planning to have a bike built for him, his third and still counting.

Meet People Online

A friend of mine is very interested to meet people online. She is in her early 40s and is very ready to explore more in the field of dating. Late bloomer you might ask? She became really busy with work and finishing her Master’s Degree that she forgot the personal part of her life. She is asking me if it’s a good idea to meet singles online. There are many articles about online dating and I told her that if she is really interested to do it, better do some research first and know everything about it, the advantages and disadvantages. She should know the ways to write a very striking profile or how to make it more personal but not really giving too much personal data since it is posted online.

When it comes to looking for single dating websites, I know that Mateordate.com is a very promising dating website since I have two friends who met their spouses from this site. They make it easier for you to meet the people by matching your criteria to other singles with the same criteria that you have. You first have to take the personal test and then start from there. I’m sure it is very easy. I wish my friend luck and I hope she finds her match at Mateordate.com

My Love for Table Tennis

Posted by Coast Side Babe | FYI,Other Matters | Sunday 13 February 2011 8:42 am

I am not a very sporty type of person. I unlikely join marathons though my usual exercise is going to the gym to sweat especially in a cold weather like this, you need to find a way to burn the calories. I used to play Ping pong when I was in high school but my interest slowly drifted away when I discovered I’d rather shop that play. But now at this day and age, I need to sweat more to be healthy. My husband is encouraging me to buy table tennis equipment and start playing again, I’m totally thinking about it.

At Newgy, I can actually buy a Table tennis from them plus they are the leader of table tennis robotics/machines that will help a pro or even a beginner to practice the sport. Their perfectly engineered machines are precise and of high quality giving you the ample training for table tennis. But this machines are not only for training because these robots can also be enjoyed by the whole family for fun events. Newgy also offers training programs in their training centers if you wished to be an expert in this sport.

I on the other hand wants to just sweat it out so I might just buy the robot and have it installed at home, then maybe my husband and I can play plus our son can do a little introduction to my almost forgotten sport.

Going for a Drive

Posted by Coast Side Babe | Other Matters | Friday 11 February 2011 12:32 am

I had to check our rv insurance because the husband is planning to go for a drive to Ohio and Illinois this Spring. I am not really a fan of long driving especially when driving on freeways but I love the sightseeing, it’s better than the horror of me riding a plane so between freeways and planes, I’d choose freeways any day. So I am sketching plans and our itinerary for the trip, we’ll be visiting our relatives there but we chose to stay in hotels both in Ohio and Illinois so not to bother relatives who work and we can just get in and out of the hotel room whenever we want. My husband wants a week in Ohio and also a week in Illinois so with the days of driving that could be a total of 3 weeks, thank goodness for freelancing. I don’t have to ask for a leave of absence at work plus I can also do a bit of my job in both states. Great!

Men’s Department

My husband asked me to purchase a few band saw blades for their workshop. So what is a personal shopper doing with this men stuff? Well, actually I complained to my husband about it, I know I have a freelance job of buying stuff for my clients but who can’t say no to a husband who has been very supportive about the things I love to do? So when his secretary took a week of from work and needed emergency purchasing for his small workshop, I had to help and luckily I found these things online and I just gave the link, I think by now the secretary purchased the needed stuff.

Out of My League

Okay there are 2 things that you can’t talk about when you are with me, it’s technology and gardening. First of all, I have a friend whom I had coffee a few days ago and he was talking non stop about htc sense and I was clueless. I didn’t know what he was talking about and not until he kinda noticed that I was making my “huh?” face with my mouth partly opened looking so blank that he remember I am not into techie stuff. I only have an iPhone and Macbook and that’s it! Then another friend talked about her orchids and yes, I don’t have a green thumb, I buy fresh flowers in a flower shop across the street and when she told me about her garden and how she grew vegetables, plants and flowers, I had to remind her that I am not into these things, I love flowers but growing them is just not my thing, I think there is no Martha Stewart in me, well that is when it comes to plants.

New Techie Stuff

A friend gave me a Motorola Xoom and actually I still don’t have any idea how and where will I use it. I am a very old school person. I have my point and shoot camera with me all the time plus my mobile phone of course because two of these techie stuff, I really need for my job. I usually use my camera to take pictures of the stuff that my clients want to see before I even buy it for them and of course, the mobile phone is what I use to call family, friends and of course my clients. But I keep everything and write anything in my 2 notebooks, I have one notebook for the things that I want to be reminded of, little notes here and there then I have this journal notebook where there are dates that will remind me of my appointments and to do list but this one is too cute to give it to my husband…

Unused SLK

Since transport system is really nice in the Big Apple, I seldom use the SLK. My husband drives his own car and I love walking in the streets of New York city that I rarely use my own car. Well, I recently paid a visit a friend from the Jersey area and I almost forgot how nice it is to drive a Benz until I did last week and I wonder if I can change insurance policy and maybe look for really more worth it car insurance companies around because I think it’s time to change now. Not that I’m not satisfied but I guess there is a point in time where you have to seek for betterment even in companies like this and even if I don’t use this car too often….

SLK 280

This is not mine, but mine is something similar.

Getting More Income

I’ve been pretty vocal about my husband and uncle who invest in gold and how much they are earning from this kind of investment but I on the other hand admits that I don’t have enough guts to invest my little savings for this. My husband has been convincing me in ages and just the other week, he earned more from it. He gave me an allowance to go shopping and this gave me second thoughts if this is the right time to invest. 2011 is a year of being brave and taking risk, well that was from a friend of mine and I don’t know if I can live to those words but I promised my husband to look into this further and maybe I will.

Updates from the Friend

Posted by Coast Side Babe | Other Matters | Sunday 6 February 2011 8:01 pm

We will visit our friend in New Jersey this week, we might drive there on Wednesday and I’ll just go back Thursday afternoon to New York. I will have to leave our son to the Nanny and my husband will doing some overtime work on Wednesday night. For updates, he is still struggling of Mesothelioma though he is high in spirit. Thank goodness. He needs positive outlook about all this, I think that is the best treatment he can get for this sickness. We will be bringing some fun movies to watch, just like the old times. I will be checking in to the nearest inn and will be staying there before I drive to New York the next day. I might visit a couple of stores in Jersey for my clients as well.
