Mark and Spencer turns Hollywood A-List with their 2011 Autumn Collection! Ryan Reynolds, 34, and model-turned actress Rosie Huntington-Whitely, 24, are the new faces of the said chain. I am too psyched to see Ryan Reynolds in all their ads. Yummy eye candy for women shoppers like me!

Armani Suits for My Man

Posted by Coast Side Babe | Men's Department | Monday 15 August 2011 10:28 pm

I would love to help and look for needed ATV Parts for my husband and his friends because they thought that I am online longer than they are but I will gladly shop for executive attires for them than being caught in an alien territory buying parts and the likes. I love automobiles but not to the extent of shopping for parts, I gave the store link to my husband and I leave the shopping to these men. I’d rather be caught shopping Armani suits for them and speaking of…

Shopping for Men’s Perfume

Shopping for Men’s Perfume
It is easier to find gifts for men not because of a limited option but because they are not picky when it comes to presents. Compared to gift hunting for men which can be quite an ordeal, men usually keeps interest on items that lasts for a long period of time. Of course electronic items and other gadgets still remains to be a favorite but if you are on a tight budget, a bottle of his favorite perfume will also do the trick.

A lot of companies already launched their fragrance collection but a few remains to be a classic and still preferred by most men across the globe. There’s Acqua di Gio from the famous designer house Giorgio Armani which was introduced during the 1990’s. It carries a light scent that is fresh yet very masculine. The price of a small bottle could start from around $60 which is a little expensive compared to other brands but with its long lasting smell, a spray or two will be enough for the entire day.

In shopping for a men’s perfume, the first thing to consider is the personality of the recipient. Those with an active and sporty lifestyle normally prefer a fresh scent that is not overpowering. On the other hand, professionals who are always out on meetings should go for a stronger and formal scent.

Even the budget should also be considered. There are less expensive bottles that are available in retail and department stores so no need to spend too much on a designer label.

Shorts for the Big Man

Posted by Coast Side Babe | Men's Department | Tuesday 26 April 2011 3:27 am

I’m getting Armani shorts for the boss, aka my husband aka the man of the house. He loves Armani and I think he has so much (which he also thinks about me and Gucci) but when I asked him where will I get shorts for him, yes there is one and only answer. So I am browsing now while I am blogging this and I think the boss will be very happy…

About Cigars

Posted by Coast Side Babe | Men's Department | Wednesday 2 March 2011 2:58 am

My husband is into Dutch Master and the first thing that came into my mind when I heard about it was about milk or a chocolate something but I was wrong, apparently one of his company managers introduced him to cigars. They are naturally wrapped cigars that they smoke not quite often actually, only during games of poker which is not quite often so I’m thinking, okay fine. That is doable. I never loved the smell of cigarettes but I must admit it adds up to the machismo of him smoking a cigar, just like in those old movies of Al Pacino.

Choco Cigars

And he is into this nowadays, Dutch Masters Palma Chocolate Cigars.

Early Father’s Day Preparation

Posted by Coast Side Babe | Men's Department | Tuesday 1 March 2011 8:57 pm

I know Mother’s Day will come first than Father’s Day but since a friend of mine lost her mother when she was young, she always prepare for Father’s Day and she loves her Dad so much, usually she comes to LA to visit her Dad and she stays at his home for 2 days or 3 just to have quality time with him. This early she already asked me to look for Father’s day gifts that she can possible purchase for his Dad so I asked her what’s his type? At age 60, her Dad still works and is very athletic, that’s the keynotes I got from my friend so I searched for possible gifts and so far I have these…

Formals for Him

Posted by Coast Side Babe | Men's Department | Thursday 3 February 2011 9:24 pm

My husband is asking me to purchase a couple of ties for his formal meetings. He has printed ties which is where I’m guilty of. I love printed ties and sometimes it appears very casual when he pairs it with plain long sleeves and dark jeans. He wears like that during normal days in his office but usually he attends formal gatherings plus have meetings with important people and he wants to look at his best in a very authoritative way. He only wants black ties from bows-n-ties but I insisted on ordering a couple of other nice blacks just to liven up his black suit. Look!

Banana Rep for Him

Posted by Coast Side Babe | Men's Department | Wednesday 28 July 2010 7:03 am

I love Banana Rep for men. It really emphasizes a man’s character and still carries the manly approach without being too girly. I don’t like some clothing companies who make men look like women already. Anyway, I visited the Banana Rep site to look for inspirations and look at their fashion sense. Superb!
