In Love with Marie Osmond Jewelry

Posted by Coast Side Babe | Jewelry | Friday 4 February 2011 8:55 pm

Who is Marie Osmond?

is an American actress, singer, doll designer, and a member of the show business family The Osmonds. Although she was never part of her family’s singing group, she gained success as a solo country music artist in the 1970s and 1980s. Her best known song is a cover of the country pop ballad “Paper Roses.”

A lot of people don’t know that she is also into craft and designing and just recently, she had a line of Marie Osmond Jewelry based on her precious valuables from her collection. Her elegant pieces are so stunning, it can be worn with casual attire or formal wear. I admire the exquisite designs and I have my eye on a few items.

Christmas Gifts for the Business Man or Woman

Posted by Coast Side Babe | FYI,Jewelry | Wednesday 8 December 2010 8:01 pm

Shopping for the business man or woman this holiday season is going to be easy with so many top diamond buying websites to choose from online. You don’t have to dread the office Secret Santa or wonder what to get the man who has everything. You can always get them a nice piece of jewelry as a personal gift, which they can appreciate if it upgrades their business wardrobe, too. When trying to make a good first impression, a business person knows how important it is to dress for success, and can use a thoughtful business gift as long as matches their corporate culture.

Traditional Gifts

Watches as traditional jewelry gifts for men may have started with the gold watch upon retirement, but they have evolved into something much more. Giving a classic sports or diamond watch to someone shows immense good taste and gives a subtle emphasis on punctuality when worn in the office. It can exude success if the it has multiple time zones, as if the person travels on business internationally. Diamond watches also make a perfect choice for men or women.

For Men Only

Men have fewer jewelry choices than women, when it comes to office wear. However, cuff links in silver and black colors for French-cuffed shirts are roaring back into style. A fashionable man’s ring in industrial tones with a black diamond can also make a stunning addition to the corporate wardrobe.

For Women Only

Pearls are the most traditional accessory for business women. They offer a classic elegance that also exudes success. They can be worn in multiple strands as statement pieces, or as a single strand for every day wear. They are traditional and conservative, but with a glow that seems to transfer to the woman wearing them. Add a few diamonds, and the soft glow with the brilliant fire of diamonds is tough to beat as a message that spells success and business luxury.

Long Necklaces from Forever 21

Posted by Coast Side Babe | Jewelry | Saturday 4 December 2010 6:36 pm

I find them hip. I don’t wear necklaces before. I used to just be contented of my watch and my rings. I don’t know what got into me but I am accessorizing with necklaces these days. Particularly loving the long necklaces. I saw two particular necklaces from Forever 21. They are fancy necklaces but with great quality. I already bought a few jewelries from this store and they haven’t change a bit since the day I purchased them.

Beads of Leaves Necklace – Multi-strand necklace featuring an array of beads, charms, and faux pearls held by three strands of highly polished chain. Fish hook back.

Floating Circle Necklace – Multi- strand necklace features high polish finish and floating circles throughout. Lobster claw clasp.

Really nice right? And they are cheap too. ;)

BIG Necklaces Rock

Posted by Coast Side Babe | Jewelry | Thursday 4 November 2010 8:05 pm

I am now into big necklaces on plain top. I usually wear jeans and tee on weekends or when I run errands for my clients so to make it a bit striking, I wear these necklaces to make it more sophisticated especially when I have to meet up with clients after the errands. I saw pretty new stuff from Kate Spade and I’m oohing and aahing. :D

Subtle Pieces to Have

A nice outfit will not be nice without a little jewelry. I love subtle yet noticeable accessories and though I do not wear accessories too much, I have no hesitations to wear one of these  pieces that I saw at Totokaelo’s Online Store.

Finally Decided

Posted by Coast Side Babe | Jewelry | Monday 23 February 2009 11:40 am

Denon wants my engagement ring to be re-designed so I took some photos to show him and we finally decided to have this one copied…

Since I want to keep the original diamond, I might have 3 stones to make the design… I hope the budget we have will be enough to make this 3 diamond ring. We’ll see!
