Another Home Office Post

Posted by Coast Side Babe | Home Shopping | Tuesday 16 August 2011 12:05 am

While I am on blogging mode, I will post about our home office again. My husband has been into the office’s power supplies because he thinks it needs more attention since we are remodeling the room a bit, he wants to put techie stuff in one corner of the room like the printer, fax machine, telephone, extra PC. I suggested that we call my interior designer friend who lives nearby, maybe we can get down to business and have a brainstorming with regards to the interior of that room, since I don’t want that space to be wasted with clutter. I am into professional help. I want to add a little sofa to make the room a bit homey, in case we want to read a book or our son would want to spend time with us in the office. Right now, he sits in the carpet when he stays there and I think his little office corner is a great idea too. Anyway, here are a few sofas I love over at Pottery Barn…

Shopping for My Home Office

Posted by Coast Side Babe | Other Matters | Monday 15 August 2011 10:36 pm

Every two months, I shop for office supplies. I always make a list of what I need to buy for my home office and my husband’s as well. I work at home and most often than not, my husband too so most of the time we need ink replacement and other stuff. So, last weekend I made the list of all the stuff that we need and much to my surprise our barcode scanner broke and needs a replacement. I am suggesting that we have it fixed but the husband suspects that it will be cheaper if we buy a new one, a better one to replace that cheap scanner so I went online and ordered a DataLogic QuickScan 2130 Imager Series Barcode Scanner that has 5 years warranty, not bad for the price of $169 right? I love shopping online, even if it means shopping for non-fashion stuff. :)

Armani Suits for My Man

Posted by Coast Side Babe | Men's Department | Monday 15 August 2011 10:28 pm

I would love to help and look for needed ATV Parts for my husband and his friends because they thought that I am online longer than they are but I will gladly shop for executive attires for them than being caught in an alien territory buying parts and the likes. I love automobiles but not to the extent of shopping for parts, I gave the store link to my husband and I leave the shopping to these men. I’d rather be caught shopping Armani suits for them and speaking of…

Medical Case

Posted by Coast Side Babe | FYI,My 2 Cents | Monday 15 August 2011 9:01 pm

I have no knowledge when it comes to medical field so when a friend who is a nurse told me about a medical case she is dealing with right now, I asked so much questions to her. The baby has cleft palate due to the medications that her mother took while she was still pregnant. I believe the medicine is called Topamax, an anti-convulsant that is also prescribed for migraine headaches and since the lady got used to taking it with her migraines, she took several of it without knowing the effects of that medication to her child. Now they are seeking help from an Austin personal injury attorney to help them with the legal actions they need. Good thing they knew a law firm that can help them with all the necessary stuff because if not, things will be harder. Pregnant women should be aware and consult their doctors before taking anything. Trip to Vancouver

Posted by Coast Side Babe | My Everyday Musings | Monday 8 August 2011 4:03 am

A friend of mine asked for some rv repair because they are going for a drive to Vancouver with his family and some friends. He invited my husband to come along, I was psyched to join but the husband had to attend to some important meetings over the weekend that we can’t drive to Vancouver because his meetings has to be in New York and he can’t do it over Skype. We had to stay home on a Friday night because he had to prepare for his meeting on Saturday and Sunday was a lazy one. Too bad we are wasting our time inside the apartment when we can enjoy the sun cruising with friends to Canada. Oh well, maybe next time.

Must Haves this Summer

Posted by Coast Side Babe | My Everyday Musings | Friday 5 August 2011 3:22 am

I am currently organizing my small closet up in the attic and I already forgot about some of my nice Summer stuff in my closet. The attic is for the guests, so they can have a piece of privacy when they stay in our apartment. My husband nicely put a small closet along with the room’s closet for the guest and I was organizing it when I saw a couple of these…

Summer Hat

Summer Wedges

I even saw a couple of nice items for my husband like the discount maui jim sunglasses I bought for him just recently. I was looking for those these days and I think the cleaning lady thought we are not using it so she decided to put it in the attic. Those are new and my husband wanted to try them when it was delivered but he was too tired to remember and I thought I lost it so I didn’t remind him that I bought sunnies for him. Darn.
