Chloe Paddington

Posted by Coast Side Babe | Bags and then Some | Monday 25 July 2011 4:50 am

My friend bought a Chloe Paddington and I think it’s is a very pretty designer bag, the only problem is its weight. I find it to heavy, I heard the padlock itself already weighs half a pound and the total weight of the bag is 3 lbs. Yikes. Anyway, here it is:

Chloe Paddington Bag

The leather is super slouchy and soft but ultra durable and scratch resistant. The medium size is functional for everyday and it’s perfect for a fun night of clubbing as well. The pockets on both sides are great for sliding in your cell phone and keys. The downside, it weighs in at a hefty three pounds! The lock alone is half a pound but the Paddington is just not the same without it so us fashion slaves will just have to look fabulous toting it straight to our chiropractors office.

Here are some of the celebs caught on cam using it:

I want a Speedy Idylle. I found one on their site and I am drooling. I always visit Louis Vuitton but I lurk around the totes more often and now that I got bored, I checked out the top handles. Wow, the Speedy has sling strap already, I want one!

Football Themed Party

Posted by Coast Side Babe | My Everyday Musings | Wednesday 20 July 2011 9:06 pm

A friend of mine loves football and his son will be having a football themed party and they asked me to help out. I have no idea how to start, all I know is that I am inspired with some football gifts but that’s it. I need to Google more about it so I can start and since we have enough time to prepare since the party is on October, I am pretty psyched even if I have no clue on how to do it. I am thinking of cupcakes with football, I need to talk to my friend who loves football, he is thinking of the theme color green, we will see about that but for now, I will get inspiration from these photos…

The Little Black Dress

Posted by Coast Side Babe | Women's Fashion | Sunday 10 July 2011 5:25 pm

Okay, I know I said that I want a classy casual outfit when my husband’s store opens but I decided that I wanna wear something classic anyway and I’ve decided to wear that little black dress and I need a diet pill that works fast because I need to lose a few more inches before the month ends. The opening is on August but I will be buying the dress this July so I got little time to lose a few more inches on my waist, arms and legs.I want something similar like these…

Little Black Dress:

A little black dress is an evening or cocktail dress, cut simply and often quite short. Fashion historians ascribe the origins of the little black dress to the 1920s designs of Coco Chanel, intended to be long-lasting, versatile, affordable, accessible to the widest market possible and in a neutral color. Its ubiquity is such that it is often simply referred to as the “LBD.”

The “little black dress” is considered essential to a complete wardrobe by many women and fashion observers, who believe it a “rule of fashion” that every woman should own a simple, elegant black dress that can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion: for example, worn with a jacket and pumps for daytime business wear or with more ornate jewelry and accessories for evening. Because it is meant to be a staple of the wardrobe for a number of years, the style of the little black dress ideally should be as simple as possible: a short black dress that is too clearly part of a trend would not qualify because it would soon appear dated.

Matters of His Business

Posted by Coast Side Babe | FYI,My Everyday Musings | Sunday 10 July 2011 11:09 am

He has been talking about a collection agency the other night and I am not really that familiar with it. I need to search about it right after our dinner conversation to better understand what he talked about. I always do this whenever there is something I don’t understand, I don’t ask, I research, I am happier to learn stuff by myself. Anyway so what is it about?

A collection agency is a business that pursues payments of debts owed by individuals or businesses. Most collection agencies operate as agents of creditors and collect debts for a fee or percentage of the total amount owed.

There are many types of collection agencies. First-party agencies are oftentimes subsidiaries of the original company the debt is owed to. Third-party agencies are separate companies contracted by a company to collect debts on their behalf for a fee. Debt buyers purchase the debt at a small fraction of its value, then attempt to collect it. The practices of collection agencies can be very aggressive; each country has its own rules and regulations regarding them.

That’s from Wikipedia by the way and I sure hope my husband doesn’t owe that much! Whew!

Food Tripping on a Friday

Posted by Coast Side Babe | My Everyday Musings | Sunday 10 July 2011 10:58 am

I did some food tripping last Friday with a friend of mine. We had a blast going to 3rd Avenue and some random streets just trying out food but this one particular joint caught my attention. The restaurant has Samsung lcd televisions clustered together in some spots of this huge place. What’s on television, it showcased paintings of the owner. Apparently, the owner who is also the chef loves to do some artwork in his spare time but it is simply a hobby, not any business of selling it or something. Not that I am an expert but I think his drawings are pretty good. Some are abstract but I love abstract whether I can interpret them or not. Anyway, their food is also delish and I am taking my husband there next weekend so he can also see the clustered televisions, I think it is pretty nice to add in his store.

Mini Alexa and Me

Posted by Coast Side Babe | Bags and then Some | Sunday 10 July 2011 10:51 am

I got really tired from reading and browsing the www.wholesaleinsurance.net and by the way, I am doing this because I am helping my husband browse through important insurances for his newly put up business. Yes, we are a team but this side of that team needs to rest and what did I do to do some stress releasing? I actually purchased a Mini Alexa. Yikes!

Mini Alexa

It’s in Waders Green Sparkle Tweed

… and I gotta work my butt of to pay this little baby. I gotta sweat and be right back on track so when the store opens, then maybe my husband will be happy and can even give me a little credit and pay for this thing. Yeah, I know, it’s a little bit too much to wish. HAHA. Oh well, I am happy! :P
