Shopping for Men’s Perfume

Shopping for Men’s Perfume
It is easier to find gifts for men not because of a limited option but because they are not picky when it comes to presents. Compared to gift hunting for men which can be quite an ordeal, men usually keeps interest on items that lasts for a long period of time. Of course electronic items and other gadgets still remains to be a favorite but if you are on a tight budget, a bottle of his favorite perfume will also do the trick.

A lot of companies already launched their fragrance collection but a few remains to be a classic and still preferred by most men across the globe. There’s Acqua di Gio from the famous designer house Giorgio Armani which was introduced during the 1990’s. It carries a light scent that is fresh yet very masculine. The price of a small bottle could start from around $60 which is a little expensive compared to other brands but with its long lasting smell, a spray or two will be enough for the entire day.

In shopping for a men’s perfume, the first thing to consider is the personality of the recipient. Those with an active and sporty lifestyle normally prefer a fresh scent that is not overpowering. On the other hand, professionals who are always out on meetings should go for a stronger and formal scent.

Even the budget should also be considered. There are less expensive bottles that are available in retail and department stores so no need to spend too much on a designer label.

I am blogging about Louis Vuitton but I will not talk about bags, for a change. Summer Collection 2011:

LV1
FIDJI THONG IN LEATHER

Two Monogram flowers are superposed to make a striking ornament on this summery flat sandal in matte calf leather.

LV2
MARBELLA SANDALS IN PATENT LEATHER
With its subtly retro play on slender, glossy leather straps, this striking T-strap sandal is right on trend for summer. The golden stiletto heel is signed with a Monogram flower.

LV3
MAJORCA WEDGE SANDALS IN MONOGRAM IDYLLE
Coordinating with Louis Vuitton’s Monogram Idylle Leather goods line, this chic espadrille-style wedge sandal plays on the contrast between the matte canvas and the glossy patent leather trim.

Yes, Louis Vuitton designs great shoes too! :D

Meeting the New Boyfriend

Posted by Coast Side Babe | My 2 Cents | Wednesday 22 June 2011 6:36 am

My friend is not wasting any time because she will be introducing me this week to her new boyfriend, he is Korean, that’s all I know. So where did she meet the guy? Well, it’s from a free online dating that a colleague of hers told her because apparently that friend from work met this Australian guy from there. So what is my take? I actually don’t mind whether you met the love of your life online or in real life, I have no right to judge anybody, like they don’t have to judge the fact that I met my husband on a blind date. My friend is 36 and she has the right to meet people whatever way she wants, she’s an adult, as long as she knows what she is doing and she is being careful. Giving all the facts about you is not advisable especially if you only talked to the person a few times. I guess you have to meet that person personally first and then take it from there. I always tell her that sometimes that “click” online will not be the same when you meet the guy personally. Luckily, it is totally different with this Korean guy. She even went to Korea to meet his family. Wow! I think that is a big step!

Helping the Husband

Posted by Coast Side Babe | My Everyday Musings | Wednesday 22 June 2011 6:19 am

Most computer monitors at their office are not working so I had the audacity to search online and compute budgets and expenses if ever my husband decides to replace most of the broken monitors. He didn’t asked me to do so but I was not busy yesterday so I thought of helping out, he was so surprised to come home with my welcome sheets from excel with brands, prices and computations of prices. He was so happy of course,at first I thought he might think I’m intruding but it’s his company and whatever I can do to help him since it is still relatively small company and saving is still very important. Anyway, after that helping out I was able to browse at Louis Vuitton again, I heard there are really nice new ones this season. I will have to make a separate post about that, you know how I adore LVs.

BB Cream Craze

Posted by Coast Side Babe | Cosmetics Shopping | Tuesday 21 June 2011 12:32 am

Have you heard about BB creams? If not here is a brief info about it.

BB Cream or Blemish Balm Cream is among Asia’s hottest beauty products right now. Where did it come from and how did it become so popular?

It is said that the formula comes from Germany where dermatologists prescribe it to heal laser skin surgery because it has soothing and skin-regenerating properties. Famous South Korean actresses then began using it for beauty purposes and since Asian dramas are huge all over, a craze was born. The trend that started in Korea first spread to Japan then to South East Asia and is now quickly making its way to Europe and the USA.

I watched a lot of videos from you tube and the brand Missha is always mentioned so I got really curious and started reading the site. I am so interested of buying these plus a few items that go well with the BB Cream.

A friend is in rehab because he has gambling addiction and his wife asked him to get into a center and he agreed, thank goodness because he also knows that his addiction is serious. We had a friend who was addicted to marijuana and was treated successfully and is clean since year 2000. We are hoping that our friend gets treated too. He owed so many debts because of his addiction and his wife is paying everything. I am sure glad that he found a very understanding and loving wife, not all women will stay in a marriage after all these but she did and he was very grateful, also one of the reasons why he agreed to go in already, he doesn’t want to lose her.

Father’s Day Bouquet

Posted by Coast Side Babe | My Everyday Musings | Tuesday 21 June 2011 12:01 am

Women are not the only ones who can receive bouquets because men can definitely get one too, especially during special occasions like yesterday that it was Father’s Day, my son had the idea of giving his dad flowers. Great thing I have some ProFlowers promo codes that I can use and spend a little more on gifts and treat for the dad. Well, it all started with a bouquet and his favorite chocolate cake in the morning and then I gave him his gift during our special lunch at home mainly about steaks and barbecues and then we watched movies with popcorn and then we had a very romantic date at night and left our son with his babysitter which he didn’t mind at all. My son loves his babysitter. Anyway, my husband enjoyed his day and my son and I are so glad. I hope all dads had a great time yesterday.
