Topamax Lawsuit

Posted by Coast Side Babe | FYI | Thursday 31 March 2011 11:06 pm

I’ve heard of this brand before from a friend who suffers from migraine attacks and so what is it really? What is Topamax before I start posting about the lawsuit?

Topamax is a brand name to Topiramate and the generic name is Topiragen. It is an anti-convulsant drug used to treat epileptic seizures.  It is also prescribed to help prevent migraine headaches, the reason why I heard about it from my friend but Topamax has it’s common side effects, slower reflexes, trouble thinking or concentrating, trouble thinking of the right word (and other speech problems), tiredness, poor coordination, and dizziness. Topamax can also result in cleft lip or cleft palate – birth defects that occur when the lip or palate fail to completely fuse together. The defect can result in a small, notched lip or in extreme cases, an open groove that extends from the roof of the mouth to the nose. These effects results to patients filling Topamax lawsuit because they are injured as the result of taking a medication. At O’Hanlon, McCollom & Demerath, our attorneys understand that your child’s injuries may not be your fault – instead, possibly a dangerous side effect of Topamax. Their expertise and reliable experience with regards to lawsuits like this will help any client claim what is due. Walt Disney Private Tours

Posted by Coast Side Babe | Travels and Places | Tuesday 29 March 2011 1:57 am

I want my son to have a stress free trip on his birthday and since we are planning to celebrate it in Florida, which better way to have fun but be in Walt Disney World Resort for a week! I never heard of those VIP treatments before, not until a friend of mine told me all about it last week. Yes, my husband and I are saving our free days to spend it with our son and since we both own our time, well, at least for me and since my husband is the boss of his advertising company then we can stay there for a week and it will be very stressful for me to plan the whole week stay in Disney without help, the theme parks there are huge and since August is still summer, I will be having problems of planning the tour and thank goodness for Michael’s VIPs, we will experience private tours without worrying for long lines and large crowds because with their expertise, we will surely have a grand time trying out rides, watching the best shows and dining in the best chosen dining places in the park! They know the parks inside and out so all I have to worry are our outfits and how much shopping I can do with my boys with me. With their Theme and Water Parks, I am sure we will be needing the best itinerary to explore the whole, if not most of the places. Walt Disney tours can be very exciting but I’m sure it will be more fun if there is somebody aside from me who will worry about everything.

Just by looking at the resort’s map, made the thank Michael’s VIPs in advance! :D

Itsy Bitsy Bikinis

Posted by Coast Side Babe | Women's Fashion | Monday 28 March 2011 2:30 am

Speaking of bikinis, I found a couple of adorable pairs over at Forever 21. I think I might need to buy a pair or two and get rid of my one piece bathing suits, if ever I lost weight before Summer.

Dark Circles Dilemma

Posted by Coast Side Babe | Beauty Related | Monday 28 March 2011 1:50 am

I don’t have the excess baggage as some may call it, but when my eyes get tired sometimes I get the circles and I always ask, how to get rid of dark circles to my friends who has pretty looking eyes that I knew once had dark circles too. They always answer the same thing, to get enough rest. A friend also shared some natural remedies to get rid of the dark circles and I think I will try these…

  • Drink plenty of water to help circulation and removal of toxins – it is always good for the skin.
  • Drink a glass of chrysanthemum tea every day. This will clear up your eyes and skin.
  • Eat a lot of carrots. They are rich in beta carotene – excellent for the skin and eyes.
  • Eat fruits that are rich in Vitamin C, which can strengthen your blood vessels and clear up your skin.

Fit into My Bikini

Posted by Coast Side Babe | My Everyday Musings | Monday 28 March 2011 1:04 am

Wow, Summer is just around the corner. Yeah I know, it’s still around 11 degrees in New York City but when June comes to mind which is a few months away, I know summer will be very near and I’m just too excited to fit into my bikinis again but I might need hcg platinum today because I’ve been gaining weight constantly and I don’t know if I can control my eating before June steps in. I even saw a couple of nice 1 piece swimsuit that I might check out in the stores and I sure hope I can fit into them or we have no plans on pursuing our Hawaii trip this July.

Movie Night with the Hubby

Posted by Coast Side Babe | My Everyday Musings | Monday 28 March 2011 12:52 am

My husband made up to the lost time he stayed with his friends and made Saturday our movie night. He bought this new audio video cables to connect the television and the sound system and made our family room feel more like you are in a theater.Wondering where our son was? He slept over his best friend’s house down the street and I had no worries of letting him go because I know the boy’s parents and we’ve been to PTA meetings together.  Anyway, the night was just perfect, we had candlelight dinner in our dining room, I didn’t cook, just ordered and plated it and then he bought desserts and then during the movie time, we had some popcorn. I wish we can have this “us” time more often. Maybe I can set up another movie night next month, we’ll see.

Basic Tee

Posted by Coast Side Babe | Women's Fashion | Friday 25 March 2011 3:18 am

When I am uncertain with the clothes I will wear, I usually end up with my basic tee plus maybe shorts or a skirt or jeans when I meet up with a client and I just usually accessorize. Anyway, my basic tees are getting worn out, they’ve been with me for some time now and I want to buy a couple of new ones and usually I get my basic tees from GAP. I will be buying this next week…

Outer Banks

Posted by Coast Side Babe | Other Matters | Friday 25 March 2011 2:58 am

A client of mine knew about us looking for an outer banks home and she referred carolinadesigns.com to me. Just a recap: My husband and I are thinking of renting a house away from the city, are we leaving New York? No we won’t be leaving, but we want a vacation, to be away from the stress that the city brings sometimes hence we agreed that maybe we can go somewhere in North Carolina. Anyway, I was browsing since this afternoon and I am very excited to show my husband some awesome homes from the site. Look at the houses that caught my attention:

Very homey isn’t it?

For the Family

Posted by Coast Side Babe | Other Matters | Friday 25 March 2011 2:48 am

I had coffee with my friend just this afternoon and her daughter got sick and was confined in the hospital for a week, thank goodness they have Medicare plan so it was not too expensive for them.It got me thinking about us who don’t have that. Well, the standard stuff of having insurance is okay but you have to think of what is good for your family when the need arises and plans like that are very essential. Unexpected spending will be very hard if you are not ready and with kids, you must be ready. My friend has 3 kids and his husband works abroad and I’m just glad she doesn’t have to worry about these stuff.

Forever 21 Tops

Posted by Coast Side Babe | Women's Fashion | Thursday 17 March 2011 1:46 am

I was scanning the Forever 21 site and I noticed the nice prints on some of their New Arrivals. I really like how it makes the tops lively and very amusing. Something to considering trying on when I go to the nearest Forever 21 store tomorrow.
