Prescription Assistance Programs Today

Posted by Coast Side Babe | FYI | Sunday 27 February 2011 7:22 pm

A lot of you may not know about prescription assistance programs and you may not know that some pharmaceutical companies offer an assistance program to those who cannot afford the price of medication. These companies make their brand name medications available for free to those who cannot afford them. But how can you avail of this privilege?

At Rx Access, you will get the best Prescription assistance that you need. You just need to comply with their 3 Step requirement. First of which is you need to find out in 60 seconds if you qualify for free prescription drugs, usually these patients are the ones who cannot afford medications, no insurance or any government help. Then, you need to enroll in their secure site and lastly, an Rx Access advocate will connect with you so you can get the rx assist for your free prescription medicines. Their staff of dedicated professionals have experiences as RN’s, physician’s, pharmacists, and other personal advocates, so you are definitely in good hands.

Since my sister is a pharmacist and gave me this information, I want others to know about this. I should extend the word about the largely unknown prescription assistance programs in America and with Rx Access, getting help is easy as 1-2-3!

Prairie Romance

Posted by Coast Side Babe | Women's Fashion | Tuesday 22 February 2011 9:26 pm

A client of mine is into Prairie clothing and so what is Prairie. For those who don’t know, I got this from Wikipedia:

Prairies are considered part of the temperate grasslands, savannas, and shrublands biome by ecologists, based on similar temperate climates, moderate rainfall, and grasses, herbs, and shrubs, rather than trees, as the dominant vegetation type. Temperate grassland regions include the Pampas of Argentina, and the steppes of Eurasia.

Lands typically referred to as “prairie” tend to be in North America. The term encompasses the area referred to as the Interior Lowlands of the United States, Canada and Mexico, which includes all of the Great Plains as well as the wetter, somewhat hillier land to the east. In the U.S., the area is constituted by most or all of the states of North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, and Oklahoma, and sizable parts of the states of Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Missouri, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, and western and southern Minnesota. The Central Valley of California is also a prairie. The Canadian Prairies occupy vast areas of Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Alberta.

So Forever 21 has made space it’s racks to some Prairie goodness…

Harley-Davidson Motorcycles

Posted by Coast Side Babe | Other Matters | Monday 21 February 2011 3:54 am

I know, what is this title doing in my blog? I guess a break from the usual post is a breath of fresh air. So, I will be talking about my uncle who adores Harley davidson bikes and how he fulfilled his dream of owning 2 Harleys before he finally said, I am done with work and retired from it. Despite the downfall of the economy, you will see a lot of their bikes being sold, well new or old, even to me who is not a motorcycle enthusiast really appreciates the beauty and craftsmanship of the Harley Davidson. I heard from my uncle that used Harley motorcycles are much more in demand and one of my uncle’s bikes is a used bike and he actually relies on Highland Harley Davidson for new and used Harleys.

Highland Harley Davidson is a very reputable store to buy the latest model of Harley Davidson, a family of two dealership that are located in Pennsylvania and Maryland. They aim to make every customer satisfied right from the Harley davidson accessories you are looking for to building a bike for you, they can offer you with a guarantee of satisfaction. They also have a very reliable website where you can browse their latest models and even promotions. My uncle is planning to have a bike built for him, his third and still counting.

Mini Alexa

I found a really cute mini Alexa from Mulberry’s site. If you find the big one really expensive and big, they came up with a smaller version.

From the site:

Your favorite Alexa has shrunk! But this is a good kind of tiny, with all your favourite Alexa features, adapted to a smaller scale. Mini-Alexa still has the cross-body strap to carry it easily, and enough room for all of your essentials.

Printer Help

Posted by Coast Side Babe | My 2 Cents | Monday 21 February 2011 2:48 am

The only thing I don’t have in my office is a printer and I need one ASAp because a client ask me to do a couple of color printing of the outfits I bought. You see, I take photos os the outfits I buy, the whole shebang! But I never updated my portfolio because I have a couple of steady clients already plus I get new clients from word of mouth. So when a client asks for my updated portfolio, I ask my husband’s secretary to print it from their high end printer. This is a bit time consuming because I have to choose the photos, label it what size it needs to be printed and then hand it to the secretary unlike if I have my own high end printer, I can have it print it in no time in the comforts of our home while I do some household chores. I will have to put the printer on my priority To Buy list. I have to get it by the end of this month.

Another Kitchen Find

Posted by Coast Side Babe | Home Shopping | Monday 21 February 2011 2:24 am

As I was planning to do a little makeover with the kitchen tiles, I stumbled upon a site for kitchen faucet and I want an upgrade again. I tell you as long as I surf and surf the net for more kitchen ideas, I will see more stuff that I want to do with our kitchen, my husband will be furious. But I know since like me, he also loves to cook, he will be glad to have a new set of lovely metals in the kitchen. We’ve been living in this house for quite some time now and I know an upgrade will not be so bad at all considering that the kitchen was untouched ever since we moved in. Look at these lovelies…

Books about Dogs

Posted by Coast Side Babe | Must Reads | Monday 21 February 2011 2:16 am

Do you love dogs? My best friend does and I am so different about that because I don’t like pets. Any pets, I don’t even know if I can maintain a plant actually. :D Anyways, we were talking about dog training books that she wants to give her mom who like her loves dogs. Since I have a category in this blog about books, I figured, somebody might want to know about the books that she really loves reading when she has time, I have no plans of buying one though the phoDOGraphy interests me…

Ideally, I need to lose 2 inches to wear the 2 cocktail dresses that I have and I want one of these dresses I saw online…

Yes, I have another friend who is on the way and I gotta to say, these ladies are making me want another baby but then again I don’t think we are ready for that yet. Aside from the the best prenatal vitamins that we talked about last week, she is asking me to get a couple of nice tops for the cold weather (still) they have in Boston. Spring is almost here but to some parts of the State, the weather is still very cold and since is still going to work as a preschool teacher, she is so busy to go around the mall plus she can’t stand for hours so I will be shopping for her and I will just mail it to her. Glad to help friends, you know. Anyway, I got a few inspirations online and I hope I find a couple of these in the stores…

After Giving Birth

Posted by Coast Side Babe | FYI | Monday 21 February 2011 1:08 am

If I can just turn back time, the only regret I had was that I didn’t try harder to breast fed my son.Thank God my son is a healthy boy today but I didn’t get the bond that most women say when breast feeding their child. I envy that a lot. A friend of mine is now thinking if she will breast feed her daughter or not, thank goodness she asked for my advice because I told her that she should and now she is looking for ways to increase breast milk because she can only feed her 2 ounces every pump but I told her that she should try and try until her milk should be enough for the baby girl. I gathered a few tips from my friends who beast fed their kids for my new mommy friend.

  • Start pumping with a good electric pump, both breasts simultaneously, every 3 hours in the daytime and every 4 hours at night.
  • Drink at least 64 ounces of electrolyte-containing beverages such as Gatorade, Propel or juices daily.
  • Avoid wearing underwire bras.
  • Try to nap for 1 hour every afternoon.
  • Warm your breasts with warm, moist compresses for 5 minutes before each pumping or breastfeeding session.
  • Put the baby to the breast several times per day and pump afterwards.
