Beauty and Learning

A friend of mine is a very successful make up artist, she didn’t have any professional training and since everything is so high tech nowadays plus there are so many new things coming up from different fields and Beauty is not an exception, she diced to enroll at Regency Beauty Institute to enhance her skills and add more knowledge of what she already learned through her experiences.  I actually told her that I don’t think she needs it especially now that she has so many clients and that from what I heard nobody is unhappy of her services but she answered me that nothing can harm her especially when it comes to learning more about beauty, her bread and butter. She said that if she will be spending for a good institute, she thought that it will be so worth it. I get her point and I wish her luck! Scrubs for My Friend

Posted by Coast Side Babe | FYI | Tuesday 11 January 2011 8:12 pm

A friend of mine works at a nearby hospital and is actually revamping her hospital wardrobe as we speak. Well, it’s not that glamorous since she has to wear scrubs to work. She had to ask me for some fashion advice just to make sure she is making herself look good despite of just wearing “the scrub” every single day. I don’t think scrubs can be unfashionable, you just have to look for a store that sells nice looking ones for your style. I had to help her look for some cute and striking scrubs for women in Blue Sky Scrubs. How did I heard about the site? Well, I have another friend who is a nurse and works in Florida. She actually buys her custom scrubs there and she told me twice during our conversations that her uniforms to work actually get compliments from her colleagues and even her patients. We are now browsing on scrub uniforms and I think we both agreed on the style that we want to achieve, so we might be getting a lot of prints plus plain bottoms and she also wants some customized uniforms for her. Glad to have helped another friend.
