Containers in the Kitchen

Posted by Coast Side Babe | Organizers | Wednesday 20 October 2010 3:37 am

I was looking around my kitchen when I realized I need some organizing. I love cooking Italian food and I observed that my pasta noodles and even the spices are just everywhere in the cupboard. I need containers to keep it organized. I saw cheap items from Ikea.

Spices Rack

For $14.99

Long Container

$3.99

Very affordable right? I love Ikea.

Pest Go Away

Posted by Coast Side Babe | FYI | Wednesday 20 October 2010 2:30 am

The community where my friend lives experiences pests in their home so my friend of mine hired a Houston pest control for termite control and pest control. It is actually required in their new home and even if it is not required he really wants to have that services for their new house.

Bulls Eye Pest Control is a Houston Pest Control Company providing termite control, pest control, fire ant control, flea control, and bee control services to residential and commercial customers. Their employees have a total of 50 years of combined experience and are fully licensed and insured. My friend was really lucky to have found a pest control he can call any time for these services. He plans to have it regularly so that they won’t have any problems unlike the other homes around their community.

Lighter Skinny

Posted by Coast Side Babe | Women's Fashion | Wednesday 20 October 2010 2:19 am

I have really dark skinny jeans and I am actually wanting to buy myself some light colored skinny jeans just to be different. Sometimes I want my outfit to be really different though I stick with still the basic, a few lighter shade will not harm me, anyway I am not that fat anyway. I found really nice skinny jeans, where else but in J. Crew and here are my two pairs…

JCrew Skinny1

JCrew Skinny2

I see myself wearing this with my flats. This is really nice!

Frilly Frills

Posted by Coast Side Babe | Women's Fashion | Monday 18 October 2010 6:35 pm

I love how girly it is to have a little of frills in clothing. I found a few nice frilly clothes over at Gap and though my husband thinks it’s a little over the top, I still love it!

Woven georgette ruffle top

A woven ruffle neckline gives this supersoft knit top dimension and texture. Pop it under a blazer or bomber for an irresistible boy-meets-girl look.

Mixed media drape tank

This tank takes mixed media to a whole new level with a tonal woven drape that elegantly cuts below the neckline.

Dolman ruffle dress

A ruffle neckline and dolman sleeves give this silky dress dimension and texture. Leggings and tights are this one’s soulmate–just add a blazer for a look you’ll fall for.

Money in Gold

Posted by Coast Side Babe | FYI | Monday 18 October 2010 6:04 pm

I have friends, family and acquaintances who invested on gold coins and so far none of them have bad feedback about their investment which prompted me to try it myself. My husband has been doing this team work with United States Gold Bureau and I am happy with how much he is earning, I admit, I got tons of shopping money from him because of what he does. I always thought that these coins are just for collections and that it’s just a heirloom that you can give your kids and grandchildren but no, it’s something far better because you can secure their future from earning so much from gold. Indeed there is money in gold.

J. Crew, Too Cool

Posted by Coast Side Babe | Women's Fashion | Monday 18 October 2010 3:37 pm

If I have a store that somebody will give me an unlimited access to shopping all day for free, it will be J. Crew! I think I found my style in this store. They can be feminine, casual and laid back but also in neutral colors, yeah, I’m the boring type of lady, all browns, blacks, grays and whites. Anyways, I found really new arrival sweaters from the store…

Apres cardigan

Spun from a chunky marled lambswool, a cozy-chic companion for ski trips and staycations alike. In a 3-gauge knit. Shawl collar. Long sleeves. Patch pockets. Hits below hip.

and here are my most two faves for fall…

Merino cardigan

Shawl-collar cardigan spun from superfine super kid mohair (the softest mohair in the world) woven on a merino wool body (it keeps the silhouette slim). The delicate 14-gauge knit gives this light-as-air sweater flirtatious charm. Designed for layering and adding sensuous texture to any ensemble. Wool/mohair/nylon. V-neck. Long sleeves. Hits at hip.

Amade sweater

As perfect for trips as it is for nesting, this loose-fitting turtleneck is crafted of a fine wool/mohair blend and finished with a single kangaroo pocket (to up the cozy-chic quotient). Acrylic/wool/mohair in a 5-gauge knit. Three-quarter sleeves. Hits at hip.

No Heels Booties

Posted by Coast Side Babe | The Shoe Fits | Monday 18 October 2010 3:53 am

Weather is getting colder as Fall is here. You and I both know that we need boots ot protect our feet and legs from cold weather. My most favorite season is here and nothing beats a pair of boots to match the whole outfit. I can wear high heels but when it comes to boots, I think I prefer flats but I can wear with heels anytime. Anyway look at my choices from Shop Bop.

Goldie Adventure

Today, I took the step and bought myself a piece of gold bar fo ran investment, I know, a piece right? My husband is practically laughing so hard when he heard my news. He knows I have plans of investing in gold just like him but he didn’t know I will just buy one. Well, I just want to try. It started as a craze that he and his best friend went into, I thought at the beginning they are crazy but when I saw how much they are earning because of it, I became really serious.

Gold has been there for ages as the symbol of wealth and power, it has become a precious item for trade during our ancestors time but today, gold has a more precious value. While his best friend buys other metals such as silver, which is also in demand nowadays, my husband concentrates in buying just gold and like him, I want to do the same. I see a brighter future with US Gold Bureau, right now, I am just happy I took the first step. I still have a lot to learn.

Bedding from Anthropologie

Posted by Coast Side Babe | Home Shopping | Saturday 9 October 2010 9:43 am

Some of you don’t know that Anthropologie has an array of things for your home. I am a sucker for bedding.  I splurge when it comes to our bed. My logic? Well, you get a stressful day almost everyday, don’t you want a bed that is cozy and comfy for your relaxing sleep at night? Get the picture? Anyway, I found really new bedding from Anthropologie and then I drool…

I love white beds…

Better than a silver lining. A smooth expanse of cotton gives way to gathered borders, fluffy and full with ruffled volume. Now available in blue oxford cloth, for a pretty-preppy look.

A bit of color if you may…

Dapper ruffles with contrast-stitched edges add dressed-up elegance to cool cotton percale.

Still want more colors? Here…

Color-dappled leaves, amid a bed of neutral foliage, create a thick canopy on downy voile.

Ornate white embroidery stands at the forefront, casting silhouettes of blue and green atop crisp grey sateen.

Lovely, aren’t they? :D

Sexy Cardigans

Posted by Coast Side Babe | Women's Fashion | Saturday 9 October 2010 9:26 am

Winter is almost here but before winter, of course Fall should come first. The perfect weather for cardigans and light sweaters and I found cute ones from Banana Republic.

Lofty and plush, our faux wrap sweater cradles you like your favorite chunky cardigan with one difference: we gave it a closed, banded hem to give it a sleeker, more put-together feel.

A looser gauge and soft alpaca blend give our textured cardigan ample coziness while keeping it amazingly airy and lightweight.

An stylishly chic cardigan is an easy layering piece to throw on throughout the season.
