Pinterest-ing

Posted by Coast Side Babe | My Everyday Musings | Wednesday 25 January 2012 1:32 am

Do you know Pinterest? Well, it a site where you can pin photos in your own “boards”, more of like having a vision board online. It is very addicting especially pinning photos about fashion and home. It’s a world full of ideas and creativity from boards like Architecture, Arts, Home Design, Organization, Shoes, Fashion and Accessories! I’ve been eyeing this kitchen design from my home pin board and been wondering about it’s sink and I always wanted those undermount stainless steel sinks in my dream kitchen.

I love how clean this kitchen looks and those stools are nice for a touch of color. Love the huge windows that will take in all the natural light during the day. This kitchen will definitely be in my vision when we build our dream home.

Style for Pregnant Women

Posted by Coast Side Babe | Women's Fashion | Sunday 22 January 2012 10:00 pm

Baby boom is this year! A lot of my friends are pregnant this year and I know most of them want to retain their beauty by dressing up nicely. These days even pregnant women can be stylish. A lot of stylish maternity clothes are out there, all you need to look for is how affordable they are and how well it fits you. Many stores sell items like these and a friend of mine showed me a couple of nice things for her that I actually think are really stylish!

and even showed this nursing dress…

Every Profession Can Be Fun

Posted by Coast Side Babe | My Everyday Musings,Other Matters | Sunday 22 January 2012 9:49 pm

I never wore a uniform after graduation from elementary and honestly I don’t want the idea of wearing the same clothes everyday. I have a nurse friend who loves her job. She is assigned in the maternity department and she is always overwhelmed every time a mother gives birth to a newborn and because she works with babies, she opts for more fun nurses uniforms that she wears everyday. Just the other day, she showed me these set of scrubs…

Adorbs!

Accessorize Yourself with Color

Posted by Coast Side Babe | Jewelry,Women's Fashion | Friday 20 January 2012 7:54 am

This year, I promised to dress more plain, grays, blacks and maybe whites but I want to add a little touch of color and I will do that through accessorizing. So if you are one of the people who are into plains, you can do a little accentuating through touch of colors. Examples are these cute accessories from ShopBop.

Actos and What it can do?

Posted by Coast Side Babe | My 2 Cents | Friday 20 January 2012 7:27 am

Let me have a break from all my shopping escapade and work that I am doing and tell you about Actos. A friend of mine discussed about cancer from actos and how it affected his patient.

Actos is a diabetic medicine that lowers down blood sugar levels but not everybody knows that patients who have been taking this medication can have higher risk of getting bladder cancer. Most affected patients seek help of dangerous drug lawyers in pursuing claims for Actos users who are now suffering from bladder cancer. I hope more and more diabetic patients will be aware of this.

My friend highly recommends people to research more on the medications they are taking before they take it. I guess that’s a very responsible thing to do.

I swear when I browse at Vita Fede, I always find items that are so unique to my taste. Now that I’m browsing I saw these unique rings that I bet will be a hit to most Hollywood celebrities and the likes. I am not a ring fanatic, I just love wearing my engagement and wedding rings but if given a choice to buy from Vita Fede, I will be getting these…

Loving JCrew

Posted by Coast Side Babe | Women's Fashion | Friday 20 January 2012 5:08 am

I know, I posted a post with JCrew stuff already but as I was browsing today, I saw really cute tops that I want for myself. I client is asking me for some fresh, nice for color blocking items too and she particularly cited that she wants airy fabric and look what I got from JCrew, perfect for my client and maybe I can grab 1 or both for myself. LOL.

Loots for the Son

Posted by Coast Side Babe | Shopping for Babies and Toddlers | Friday 20 January 2012 4:29 am

one of my shopping highs is shopping for my son. When I have nothing to buy, I always head to the toddler’s sections to look what they have, I usually shop from Gap when it comes to my 4 year-old but just yesterday, I didn’t only buy clothes for him but one of these cool Duncan Raptor yoyos that he wanted for quite some time now.

I got him the green one.

And then I got a few items from Gap. teehee…

Lusting over Shoes

Posted by Coast Side Babe | The Shoe Fits | Friday 20 January 2012 3:58 am

A friend of mine was showing me these nice military coveralls that can actually be a fashion statement if worn fashionably. I think, men’s clothing and footwear are now fashionably worn even by women. Take for example these shoes that I am lusting for quite some time now, they are actually designed for women but the style is definitely patterned from the men’s line.

    Gearing up for Spring

Posted by Coast Side Babe | Women's Fashion | Friday 20 January 2012 3:35 am

Okay, I know I’m a bit advanced but I am loving the stripes over JCrew and as early as today, I want to prepare for Spring and these stripes are calling me. I’m not much of a floral girl and I know there will be tons of floral dresses and skirts that will be coming out (some I might even like) but these stripes are just adorbs!

    Stripe Sweater Skirt

Sleek, striped and to the point in a curve-hugging pencil silhouette and an easygoing sweater knit. Wear it alone on warmer days or over tights when the temperature drops.

*and look at those shoes, I want those oranges too!*

    Blouson Dress in Stripes

The blouson is back. Our timeless warm-weather classic has all the same details you fell for the first time around: delicate straps and an elastic waistband that gives the bodice a flattering blouson effect. Done in a new skinny stripe—we love it paired with a belt and strappy heels. Silk crepe de chine. Hidden back zip with hook-and-eye closure. Straight skirt. Falls above knee.
